Rated 5 out of 5 by from So happy to have found this! Over the past year I've been transitioning to the Hydro Boost product line for my skin and have been very happy with the results. That's why I was so pleased to discover the HB Hydrating Lip Shine, especially now that we're heading towards colder weather here in the Northeast. I rarely wear any sort of lip product because I don't like the way they feel, I have trouble choosing the right shade, or because they don't last. This is different. I started with the Soft Blush, which is basically no color, and am happy with it. Perhaps this will be the incentive I need to experiment with more color? :-) I anticipate I'll be using the lip shine a lot in coming months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy Grail Product! I am a total snob when it comes to what products I put into my lips, and I have to say this is BY FAR my FAVORITE lip product ever! I usually stick with YSL lip balms, but they tend to dry out my lips, and I was sick of spending $40 plus dollars on a product I wasn’t excited for. So when I saw this in the store and it’s amazing price, I figured I would give it a try. I was SHOCKED by how pigmented the color was, I got the shade Ballet Pink, and thrilled with how soft it left my lips looking and feeling. This is a MUST HAVE for anyone that wants that natural, dewy finish, without the sticky, tacky mess that even high end brands tend to leave.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lip Shine The lip shine itself is quite good. It has a nice feel on the lips and stays on nicely. I really like the amount of "gloss". It's not super glossy like it is meant for young teen, but has the right amount of shine for people who are a little more mature, and it looks professional. However, the applicator has such a poor design, which is why I could not rate it higher. It is so wide that it is hard to get in and out of the tube. The width is good for application, but perhaps it needs to be made of a more flexible material that doesn't have to be forced with hard pressure to get it in and out of the tube. I'm concerned that the applicator will break before I have used all of the product.

UNTIL.....I began buying it before Covid and it was sold with a secure seal that had to be removed to open the product. After Covid, I've noticed there is no longer a safety seal on this lip product. This makes no sense to me. Anyone can use this before I purchase it and pass on ANY virus. I don't understand why a company would change this safety measure especially during COVID. I will not purchase this product again until the safety seal is back on it. Come on Johnson & Johnson... What are you thinking???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Gloss! This is truly the first comfortable lip gloss I've ever used. It goes on great and provides beautiful color and shine. I've received compliments while wearing it. The color I have is Velvet Wine - it's gorgeous! It's moisturizing for hours without being overly heavy upon application. The color looks great, although doesn't last all that long. Reapplication goes just fine. I didn't notice any 'plumping' of my lips, but that's okay. The packaging is nice, but the tip of the applicator is VERY wobbly and feels like it might break off when I reinsert the wand into the tube. This seems a little strange. Otherwise, it's a great product and something I would buy again.

Applicator is wonderful - a wide flocked paddle shape. It feels so nice going on. The gloss is not sticky nor is it slippery, it clings to lips and feels soothing and hydrating. Has a nice shine to it and the best part, my lips looked nice and full. It really did make them appear more plump.I even wear it as a lip treatment around the house when my lips are feeling dry as it really does seem to improve lip health - or at the very least make them feel better. Would love to see even more colors and some shimmer shades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flushed Coral (30) is Gorgeous I've been partial to lip balms and never considered a gloss. The Flushed Coral shade was calling my name in the store, so I got it. So glad I did. The shade looks super bright in the tube, but I dot it on and apply with a finger to end up with the most wonderful uplifting shade once it's thinned out and my own color shows through. My ideal color. I was also surprised to find that it stays on the lips a long time until I eat something! Stays longer than a lip balm, so this is all I use now. Some people have mention the applicator. I haven't had any problems with the applicator being too big except on one tube, and it still worked. I've gone through several now and the all the other applicators have been perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, not so great applicator I adore this product and am recommending it to friends, but I warn them about the problematic applicator. It’s just awful, way too big, difficult to pull out. Like others have said, I worry it’s going to break right off. Please fix this and then you’ll have an absolutely perfect product!
